Training & Placement Cell, KAIM »

Proper Guidance Leads to Success
On successful completion of the course the Institute helps the students in placements by inviting companies for campus interviews and arranging the interviews of the students in various companies.
The Institute has a well - equipped Training and Placement Cell, which is regularly in touch with the corporate and keeps on informing the students about the different developments and requirements in various industrial sectors and companies.
The Placements at the Institute is a result of very systematic interaction with the industry and continuous career counseling to the students. Right from the inception of the programme, each student is very consciously counseled with regards to his/her career aspirations and options, which in turn is very vigorously followed up with the potential companies for participating in the placement programme of the Institute. This not only helps the students in getting their ‘dream’ job but also assists the visiting companies in identifying the ‘right’ candidate for their organization.

Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)
PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting company and the students to interact with each other. The presentation by the company regarding the history, growth potential, future opportunities, and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.) PPT also provides a company with opportunity to recruit the first year students for summer training assignments.
Conducting the final Selection:
The company is requested to inform the Training and Placement Officer regarding the recruitment procedure. It should include information on the size for Group Discussion, number of rounds of Interviews, etc. The company will inform the Training and Placement Officer about the final selection of the candidates.
Once the response form has been received from the company, the Placement Cell will make arrangements for the PPT, final selection and inform company of the same.

Track Record »

KAIM has always been a preferred choice for the companies visiting campus because of its domain specific approach. The track record of the students’ placements, right from the inception displays marvelous achievements in the corporate and academic domains alike. The placements in 2011 went very well like previous years. Nearly most of students from 2011 batch are placed in more reputed national and international companies.

A close interaction between the Institute and various company executives has created excellent placement record for the upcoming 2012 batch as well. Our first placement week commenced from 10th October 2011 and in a span of one week, many reputed Indian companies as well as MNCs visited us who has a vast interest in the core domain to name a few like TATA Steel, Cipla Ltd, Dexter Consultancy, HSBC, Birla Tyres, NTPC, American Express, Karvy Consultants, Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd., MYi Wilson, Glaxo Smithkline, Kotak Life Insurance, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Axis Bank etc. In a week's time, most of the students from graduating batches received placement offers from these companies. The average CTC across all other programs has also increased considerably. A good number of companies are confirmed to visit us during the 2nd placement week, in November 2011 and remarkable placements are expected to follow.
